Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Have you planned your fabulous date night yet? Dinner at your favorite restaurant? A movie? A visit to a museum? Or would you be happy staying home and having a few dozen roses delivered to your door?
Well, there’s an app for that. It’s like your own personal assistant. The YP – Local Search & Gas Prices app will help you find everything you need, including a florist, to plan your dream Valentine’s Day date or simply a great Valentine’s Day!
Are you looking for a restaurant that serves your favorite, yet hard-to-find, dessert? No problem. Open the YP app on your phone and search for it. The app will list restaurants in your area that serve it! Or, if you decide you need pizza ASAP, you can find the place closest to you that delivers. Share the restaurant with your husband, wife, or friends using the YP app’s social sharing feature.
With location information and reviews of over 300,000 restaurants integrated menus, and directions, planning your dream date will be quick and easy!
Not only can you plan your dream Valentine’s Day date using the YP app, but you can also find great discounts at your favorite restaurants and other places. Simply click on the Deals icon at the bottom of the YP app to find deals near you. Put your favorite deals in your “My Stuff” folder so you never forget about them!
The gas prices seem to be rising again and with the YP app, finding the cheapest gas on the way to your destination is easy. The app notes the best options based on price and distance based on your personal preference – whether it be premium, standard or diesel.
The YP app is available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, Blackberry and Palm mobile devices and is FREE! Imagine all the time and money you could save by using this app.
Just look at what you can find on the YP app!
My Valentine’s Day Dream Date
One of my Valentine’s Day dream date destinations is Bluefin Restaurant. I love sushi and don’t get to eat it often because the kids don’t enjoy it so this would be a special treat for me. If my husband didn’t agree to sushi I would like to go to The Melting Pot which has a rating of 4 1/2 stars out of 5 in the YP app! I love that I can see the menu right from the app.
After that, I’d like to go to Atlanta Botanical Gardens’ special Valentine’s Day event ‘Valentines in the Garden’. Check out our Valentine’s Day Guide to find out more about the event. From Bluefin, I can click on the Directions button on the Atlanta Botanical Garden details page in the YP app to get directions. Easy!

I would go to a nice restaurant with my husband
I would love to go to dinner – we never ever go out anymore – we need a date night for sure
Since I am a very single woman and my son is turning 16 on February 15th, I’d most love to take him to the Lion King production that is in town.
Thank you.
We’d go out for dinner at Fogo de Chao and then grab a bottle of champagne and movie to come home and relax. Can’t get a sitter for all night when you have six kids, lol!
I would like to go out to eat at a nice Italian restaurant and then go to a bed and breakfast.
Hubby and I haven’t had a date night in so long. I would be happy with a nice dinner and a movie.
i would love to go to a spa together. that would be really romantic
I would take the whole family to a nice dinner.
pay for my mom to watch the kids and go to a nice hotel
I’d love to use it to see Romeo and Juliet at the Shakespeare Tavern in Atlanta!
I would go to a nice dinner in boston and spend the night in a hotel
I’d like to do dinner, but also find cheap tickets to a show, comedy/theater/tradeshow… etc
