Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Studio Glass Movement with the High Museum of Art Hot Glass Roadshow from The Corning Museum of Glass.
September 12th through 16th on the High’s Sifly Piazza, visitors will experience first-hand the art of contemporary glassmaking. Watch as a team of master glassmakers takes glowing globs of molten glass and skillfully shapes them into vases, bowls, and sculptures.
The FREE glassblowing demonstrations and “You Design It; We Make It!” sessions feature guest appearances by artists Richard Jolley, Johanna Grawunder, and Gyun Hur.
