This is sure to be a Giant-Sized, Fun-Filled Party!
Fernbank Museum of Natural History will host its annual Dinosaur Birthday Bash on Saturday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The colossal birthday party will celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Museum’s beloved permanent exhibition, Giants of the Mesozoic. All are invited to come out and celebrate a day dedicated to the world’s largest dinosaurs.
Numerous dinosaur-themed activities will take place throughout the celebration. Offerings will include:
Birthday Ice Cream courtesy of “Bruster’s Real Ice Cream”

Treat yourself to free ice cream provided by Bruster’s Real Ice Cream

Stomp Your Theropod Feet Craft

Transform your five-toed feet into Giganotosaurus-style stompers in this simple craft activity, and wear them home over your shoes.

Danny’s Dinosaur

Have your camera ready to meet the infamous dinosaur from the children’s book Danny’s Dinosaur. (Danny will make several appearances at various times throughout the event. You never know where he’ll pop up.)
Temporary Dinosaur Tattoos

Wear your dinosaur pride with a fun, temporary dinosaur tattoo.
Dinosaur Photo Opportunities

Jason’s Music Party

Join us for a special performance from the Fly By Night Marching Band, to wish the dinosaurs a very happy birthday!
Dinosaur Birthday Bash is part of Fernbank’s 97 Days of Play summer series, which features a variety of unique activities and events to keep families entertained and inspired during the summer months.
Dinosaur Birthday Bash is included with Museum admission. Admission to Fernbank is $17.50 for adults, $16.50 for students and seniors with ID, $15.50 for children ages 3 to 12, FREE for children 2 and under and FREE for Museum members.
